Meet Emily Lowrance
Emily is a physician assistant providing support in neurosurgery procedures in Littleton, Co. She assists Dr. Angela Bohnen in surgery for spine and neurosurgical procedures. Her experience prior to Neurosurgery One includes responding to trauma activations, coordinating trauma care with general surgery or physical therapy, assisting in the operating room, consulting in clinic, and post-op follow up.
Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Colorado Denver, and a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has always enjoyed science, with a fascination with biology in particular. With medicine, Emily feels she can put that interest into her work to aid in personal healing, and watching a patient improve makes it all worth it. Her personal philosophy is to treat every patient as if they are family or a friend.
Emily grew up in Colorado, and after spending nearly a decade away for school and work, she is happy to be back settling into the Colorado lifestyle with Neurosurgery One. She enjoys hiking, but hockey is her favorite sport, both to watch and play!
