Are you tired of having to coordinate endless healthcare appointments with no one giving you a plan for what’s next?
At Neurosurgery One, we’ve designed a program that provides an assessment and a plan to find the root cause of your pain. In one visit, we will get you started on multiple conservative treatments and schedule your follow-up visit to assess the results of these treatments and move you quickly to the next step if they aren’t working!
At your first appointment, you can expect:
- Physical exam, including time to listen closely to what you’ve been experiencing, what you’ve tried and what you hope to achieve
- Provocative testing (where we gently manipulate your body) to help diagnose or rule out particular common causes of pain
- Review of current spine imaging (X-rays, MRIs), or referral for imaging
- Referral for all appropriate conservative treatments you have not tried: Physical Therapy, Spinal Injections, Chiropractic Care, Massage and Other Holistic Care
- Referral to a board-certified interventional pain management physician or board-certified neurosurgeon if you have already tried all appropriate conservative treatments without relief
- Scheduled follow-up visit to assess results of initial recommendations and plan for next steps
